Sims 3 "Connecting" & Downloads Tab Error
Hi! So I kind of have two problems mixed into one, I've noticed! I am trying to download some new things into my game, but when I click the "downloads" tab, it crashes every single time. I've tried removing downloads from the folder, but when I even place one back into it, it crashes again. I've read a lot on maybe how to fix this, but so far, nothing has worked for me. To go around this, I went into the game and downloaded things from there up until recently. Now, when I try and login (via launcher or the game itself) it says "connecting" and will not go away or log me in. I've tried many things to try and resolve this but so far nothing has worked! I can still play my game normally, I just cannot login or download anything without issues. Any help would be appreciated!Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3
Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.The Sims 3 64-bit not showing in EA App on Mac (latest version)
I’m using the latest macOS version, but The Sims 3 64 bit does not appear in my EA App library. I have tried multiple times to reach out to Help Center, but the issue still hasn’t been resolved. Since I cannot see it in my profile, I’m unable to download or install the game at all. Has anyone else experienced this issue on Mac? If so, were you able to fix it somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sims 3 - Dragon Valley Gold Edition - Not Showing
Hi, I ended up purchasing Dragon Valley Gold Edition on the EA app, when I log into my sims 3 account online it doesn't show that I have purchased this game/addon. But it says I purchased it on EA App. Do these not sync with each other if I purchase it on EA app vs store.sims3.com ? Just though they would connect so if I purchased something that I can download it in the game. It says I have not purchased it on Sims 3 store but in EA app it has. - Britney
Game Crashes when playing with mods
Hi, I seem to be having yet another problem. I've created the correct folders for my sims 3 mods (e.g. Overrides, and Packages) I'll insert pictures below. When I download mods I tend to put them in specific folders pertaining to what aspects of the game they change. For example if I have 'Nraas' mods I'll put them into the 'gamemods' folder and same goes for cas and build buy stuff. However with the mods placed into my package folder they tend to make my game crash when it gets to the loading screen? Also it seems as if only specific things work in my game? As I currently have my Build/Buy folder in my game and it works perfectly fine? Except the same can't be said for my other mod folder directories? I thought it was due to outdated mods so I updated my Nraas mods only for it to still not work? If anyone has any ideas I'd greatly appreciate them!! Thanks!! Hi guys I’m desperately in need of help please. Recently i downloaded a mod ( I know, stupid ) and i tried to delete it safely by making a copy of my Sims 3 Map/files in downloads and then deleting the original file + deleting the mods out of the new file. Didn’t work. All my downloads are gone. When I enter the game it has fully reseted. I put my original files back from the trashcan but it still doesn’t work. Please, what do I have to do? Im so sad[CURRENT ISSUE 64-bit] Base game incompatible with expansion pack error
If you see this error: Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 and delete Version.tag. You'll need to open the folders manually; the file won't show up in a search. If this doesn't help, please move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, then try to launch the game again.
