Launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3
Game launcher crashes when I open the downloads tab in Sims 3, maybe someone has ideas how to fix this problem. I play in Mac. I uninstalled everything and then reinstalled but unfortunately it didn't help. I bought a new world - Roaring Heights Gold Edition but I can't download it in my game when launcher crashes.
Sims3Pack files not installing or converting on Mac 64-bit
Hi, I really need help because I’ve tried everything I can think of and nothing is working. I’m playing The Sims 3 on my MacBook (64-bit version). Every time I try to put Sims3Pack files into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads, the launcher crashes as soon as I click the “Downloads” button, or the files don’t show up at all to install. I even tried converting these Sims3Pack files into .package files on a Windows computer using a multi-extractor. The conversion worked, and I put the .package files into Mods > Packages. 1 worked and it was only a hair item i think, but most of my converted content doesn’t appear in-game. It’s random — one or two items will show up, but everything else is missing. My resource.cfg file is correctly set up. I know the Mods folder works because other mods (like NoIntro and NoSparkles) are showing up fine. I’ve also tried using the in-game Downloads Dashboard (Main Menu > Options > Downloads Dashboard), but nothing shows there either. At this point, I don’t know I just want to get my custom content working properly. If anyone has a solution, suggestions, or step-by-step advice, I’d be extremely grateful. Thank you!
Invalid email/password
I've recently started getting an invalid email/password error when trying to log in to my store account. It was working fine at the start of the week, but I had to change my password and that's where the issue began. I know I'm typing it correctly and there are no special characters or such in my password but the game refuses to log me in. This is made harder because I'm playing on a Macbook Air and everyone that I've seen with this problem is on Windows and so the solution is for Windows, not Mac. Has anyone had this problem on a Mac? And how do you fix it?Sims 3 crashing every. single. time.
Hello! So, I play sims 3 on my MacBook Pro (2020). It worked fine for months with mods and without mods and then all of a sudden one day as soon as I loaded into my save, every time I turned the camera it would crash. It then progressed to not even loading any save at all. It would load completely through the two loading screens and then once the game noise starts, it crashes. I've deleted all my mods and cc, cleared all cache many many times, repaired my game, changed settings, and even reinstalled the game and it's still the same. Sims 3 is my favorite sims game so this is very frustrating to me. This is my last resort so if any one can help me or has any ideas, please reply!! Thank you so much.
HELP! SIMS 3 CC NOT SHOWING UP IN INSTALLED CONTENT
Hi there! I absolutely love the sims 3, I it is my favorite version of the Sims. I'm trying to install mods for the first time and I'm having issues. I have a 2017 MacbookPro. Here are the steps I have taken: 1. I downloaded two separate packages from TheSims Resource 2. I put them both in the Downloads folder in Documents/ElectronicArts/Sims3/Downloads 3. This didn't show up in installed content 4. I installed Resource.cfg.package and put that in a separate Mods Folder in the Sims 3 folder. 5. I put a package in the Mods folder Neither of these packages showed up in Installed Content on the Sims 3 Launcher. What should I do? I am open to all suggestions!
Sims 3 for Mac: Rosetta being discontinued
I saw from WWDC that Apple will be discontinuing Rosetta from 2027. Am I right in thinking that Rosetta is required to enable the Sims 3 64 bit to run on Silicon Macs? The app is labelled as 'Intel' when you click on it to 'Get info'. If so, what will happen to Sims 3 for Mac players? I'm worried. I'd be very happy to be corrected and told that Sims 3 for Mac doesn't require Rosetta or that there's no need to worry.
Can't log in on EA app
When I try to log in on the Sims 3 launcher screen, I enter my email address and password and hit log in and my credentials disappear, there's now a "null" in the space for my email and it says Please add a valid email address. The app will load, and continues to the town screen when I get the "connecting" ring, and it never connects, never opens. I have cleared the cache, repaired the game, what else? I have an MI MacBook running Sequoia 15.5. Any suggestions ?
