Just a heads up: If you play the patched game with any flavor of my fewer/no memory mod, wishes disappear and the panels with motives/inventory/etc cannot be displayed at all (clicking the button to expand them does nothing).
So if anyone has this behavior, check if you have an outdated memory mod.
