Pets Bug Thread
That patch is here and there are actually lots of fixes. The manual Patch can be downloaded here: Patch 1.29 (850 MB) I myself will not continue to compile this thread. See page 119 for details....

The Bug/Glitch: Custom Content and Store Content that are installed as Sims3Packs (I have loaded the game, placed the items, and had sims interacted with them, so I know they are there), are NOT showing in the list of installed content in the official launcher. I am not sure if this is a result of the patch, but it just popped up for the first time after installing the new patch. This isn’t really a major problem, except it can make uninstalling individual items/packages a wee bit difficult.
One of your cache folders is empty. Downloaded and installed content are put in separate folders in your documents area. I think the one you are talking about is called "dccache".
