Maybe the Sim had some bad cc.

Try removing the sim itself from the folder documents\electronicarts\thesims3\savedsims and if that doesn't make the game load, go to the folder DCCache and move the latest file ending in the extension *dbc to your desktop. This will probably cost you more cc then just what you loaded but it's to see if it then loads.

Also delete the file missingdeps.idx (that will recreate)
