@dream_nice  Yes, unfortunately you do need to buy the entire world again to get the gold version.  However, the gold version of some worlds really only means an extra venue that comes with a premium content item or two, and you can usually buy the venue separately.  In fact, it's cheaper to buy Aurora Skies standard and the Tiny Prodigies learning center than to buy AS gold.

If you're looking at Lucky Palms or Sunlit Tides, the venues that come with the gold version are available separately, and they both go on sale on the Daily Deal—the rotation hasn't changed in years, so you can predict when they'll be on sale, and for what price.
