@EricCartman2k Steam doesn't send an email with a registration code. The way things used to work, you'd sign into Steam, click on Sims 3 in your game library, choose Manage > CD Keys, and find one key for the base game plus one per pack. Now however, the base game does not come with a key, although you'll still see them for most packs. The reason is complicated and not relevant, but the point is you won't be able to get a key from Steam.
If you want to register your game in Origin, contact EA customer support and provide proof of purchase and ownership in Steam. You can upload screenshots when you submit your request for a live chat.
