It is the Repo Guy/Girl. They are taking your valuables because you aren't paying your Sim's(s') bills. Apparently they take one or more things, in which the value matching the price of the bill.

Solution: Pay your bills! all you have to do is hover your mouse over to your mailbox, click on it, and if it says (example) "Pay Bills (§1,592)", CLICK ON THAT! There. Your problem is solved 😕mileyhappy:.
