Re: i need the cheat to age up my sim please

@safariforme  Open the cheats console (ctrl-shift-C) and enter testingcheatsenabled true .  Shift-click the sim and select Trigger Age Transition.

Note that you can't age up a pregnant sim, and that inactive sims won't age up on camera this way.  (They'll do so later when you can't see them.). Having an active sim blow out the candles on a birthday cake works just as well as the cheat.

    ok cool. ty so much. i havent played in so long that i cant remember alot of stuff. after i use that cheat, i think i need to repeat but finish with false. is that right.

    @safariforme  You don't actually need to disable testingcheats if you don't want to.  It'll be disabled the next time you open the game, but in the interim, having it enabled doesn't do any harm.  But yes, testingcheatsenabled false will turn it off again.

    The cheat bar should disappear after you enter a command, but if not, press the Esc key.

  • i am so happy. it worked and now i am able to age the kids up whenever i want. ty ty ty . i appreciate your help alot.
