@drdingledumb  You'll need to contact EA customer support and ask that the game be added to your account.  Or, I guess you could refund the game from Steam and buy it again, hoping that this time, you get a valid product key.

If you do contact EA customer support, I would strongly recommend using live chat rather than email.  If you don't see the option, try this link:

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.

    Well thanks but decided to just refund the game and forget it , I got locked out of my orgin that had 1000$ worth of games even though i know the account info and password , it was inactive for almost 10 years , tells me it has expired , sends me a code to reactivate to an expired email I can't log into with no other option , I'm done with EA , so dumb that I'm willing to repay for a game i already own yet they crap on me but not letting me use the exchange

    Hey there @drdingledumb 

    If you're no longer able to access the email associated with your EA account, you'll need to reach out to the live support team on the help site here so they can help you restore access to your account. Account recovery isn't something we can help with here on AHQ. 

    Once the live support team can verify that you're the account owner, they'll help you update that email to something you do have access to so you can login again. 

    You will need to provide enough accurate information about this account in order for the live support team to help you get you logged in- if you're not able to verify that you are the original owner, live support won't be able to get you logged back in.
