I also have this problem. I updated my OS on my mac and now the disc doesn't work. So I tried going to origin to download the digital copy, as recommended, but it won't open when I click play (unless the disc is in, and if it is it gets to the 'choose a town' menu and says the disc isn't in) and there's no option to download it.
