Re: Need a help with the treasure chests in diving spot

@aodoherty  I have no idea how to help with this, sorry.  I've never tried to make a dive spot myself and have only played with IP features for testing purposes.  Maybe someone else will happen to drop by and have ideas, but there usually isn't anyone else posting here to help.  So the official forums is probably the better place to ask.

@aodoherty  I'd love to know what you did, in case someone ever asks the same question.  Like I said before, I have no idea about these things.

@puzzlezaddictOh yeah there hasn’t been changed anything. It’s still the same but this time, I didn’t re-open the setting box after setting the scuba diving level and the type of the treasure. I just let my sims opened it and got the proper valued treasure. 🙂
At the first time, I got only NRaas menu was because I placed the treasure chest for Land, not for underwater. LOL!

  • @aodoherty Hi! Would you be willing to put your dive lot up for download? I’ve been wanting to have a dive log in my Bridgeport world but have never been able to make it happen! I can place them but the sims never can get to them! I’d love to try placing your dive lot to see if it works 🙂

@MollyMoon216Maybe do you know how to move any premade dive lots to a new world? I've tried to move the dive lots from Isla Paradiso, but it doesn't seem to work and that's how I created my own one in Bridgeport.

  • @aodoherty Yes, this is I tried to do and it worked but my sims could never travel to the lot in game.

In Isla Paradiso, I went to Edit Town mode -> clicked each lot -> Save to Bin.
Then I opened my Bridgeport save. Edit Town -> Place 64 x 64 lots in the ocean.

    Shift ctrl C
    Testing cheats enabled true
    Enable lot locking true

Changed each lot to community lot -> Diving Area

Placed each of the 3 IP diving lots from the bin onto each lot.

Saved. Exited to main menu. Reloaded Bridgeport save.

And still in-game my sims couldn’t travel to the dive lots or swim underwater! :/

@MollyMoon216Were the dive lots still on the sea surface after placing them? Everything was floating on the sea surface in my case. Even my own one showed the same issue in other worlds, so I’m afraid of sharing mine, but I’d try to upload a couple tomorrow and let you know if you don’t mind. 🙂
