Re: Not all EP/SP installed showing up in game

They are. I've double and triple checked all along the entire process making sure I had everything I was supposed to.

I'm going through the tedious task now of trying to pinpoint exactly which packs won't load. Funny part is, I have a couple of packs that were bought second hand (Goodwill of all places!) and I've never been able to register them. I started there and those few I have no trouble with. I have found High-End Loft Stuff  and Fast Lane Stuff missing so far.

Oh and store content! I just re-downloaded and reinstalled all of that.

@donutgrrl  When you install the EA app the install process uninstalls Origin. I think that's because they are not compatible with each other. Not sure on that. What I found is the only way is to do a complete clean reinstall should fix the issue with missing packs and store items. Move the game user files to your desktop. Uninstall the game. Uninstall the EA app. Download a fresh EA app installer. The EA app installer should uninstall Origin. Start the installer and install the game from the EA app. Start the game. All ep/sp packs should be installed. Go the the load game page. Click the three ... (options) in the lower left corner. Install store items. You can try your l old save games from the folder you moved to your desktop. Quit the game and copy the saves to the new game folder. Or just start a new game. You can reinstall Origin but even if the game works under Origin sooner or later your going to have to use the EA app. Once you try Origin again the game may run but trying the game under the EA app may corrupt the game. I think the issue is compatibility between the EA app and Origin and the thesims3.com site (my opinion). This should work unless you have issues with the operating system. If you still have issues please post your computer's dxdiag.

@donutgrrl  When packs don't load despite being checked off in the launcher, a common cause is stale data in Internet Explorer's cache, or now that IE is retired, Edge's IE mode data.  So try clearing that (end of the article):

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/view-and-delete-browser-history-in-microsoft-edge-00cf7943-a9e1-975a-a33d-ac10ce454ca4

You'll need to check off all the packs again, but hopefully this time your settings will stick.

By the way, you can see which packs have loaded by going into Buy Mode and trying to sort by pack.  The icon is all the way on the right, and any pack that's loaded will show up as an option.
