I installed it from my Purchase History. I installed everything in my Purchase History within about 2 days. The launcher stopped installing lots, worlds, and venues at some point. So it said it was in my installed content but they weren't in my game in Edit Town.

I found crinrict's blog on lots, worlds, and venues not showing up in game on the internet with Google Search.

I had to back up my files, go into my documents/thesims3 and take the dcbackup and dccache files out and place them on my desktop, re-install the missing items from the dashboard, and delete the auto-generated dcbackup and dccache files. Then I had to move the original files I had placed on my desktop back in documents/thesims3.

That would have worked fine if I hadn't previously deleted all the items installed from Graham's Pet Swap Shop in an attempt to re-install it before I found the blog.

Now, I have to see if the items are there in Appaloosa before I start to re-install it again. I already have the save started and just need to enter Edit Town.

@enchantress6274 Let me know whether the items are present. If not, the simplest solution would probably be to just reinstall the Store content from scratch, in a new Sims 3 user folder, then move your saves and other content to the new folder. If you go this route, be sure to download and install only a few items at a time, and worlds separately—the launcher doesn't handle large amounts of data very well.

@puzzlezaddict The items weren't present in Appaloosa either. I will redo my downloads per your advice.
The other items were fine, but I had purchased Lucky Palms and Midnight Hallow after my initial downloads.
Lucky Palms didn't take, either, actually. I can see how a re-download will be in order. I thought I might have to do something like this when I couldn't see Lucky Palms in my Worlds List.
Thank you again. You're incredibly helpful to me and all The Sims 3 players that have the same issues.

I had the problem with the launcher again in an attempt to get all my store custom content in my game.
The Graham's Pet Swap Shop and the Ultimate Stage and Venue both didn't download or install properly. So I took out the DCCache and DCBackup files and placed them on my desktop. The pet shop works now after installing it again. Everything is as it should be there.
Now, I think I have to close the game and do the stage which should only work if I have Showtime in my playable packs check marked.
I have Pets check marked at the moment. So hopefully one will read this and see how to solve this pet store problem easily without trying everything to get the launcher to uninstall it! That was quite a painful experience for me. EA said it was the EA app. It was a corrupt file instead.

Oh, and by the way, I have the Graham's Pet Swap Shop from purchasing Pets after the game went on Christmas sale past the pre-release of it. It may be difficult to keep it working.
