Re: Sims 3 - Origin Error: 131076:0

These are exactly the first things I did as I commented above. I also clean booted windows to troubleshoot errors, nothing seems to correct this issue. Thanks anyway.

Are you using a proxy in IE? You may have to tell your antivirus about Origin. Are you trying to download to a virtual storage device?

I just added origin to my antivirus exclusions, lets see how that works.

I'm also trying to download to my second hard drive partition, can this be causing the issue? although the first time I'm sure I was trying to download in the main and didn't work either.

you didn't list the type of computer (pc or mac) but I'm guessing pc. It depends on how the partition was created. A partition is a virtual device and that may be the problem where as if you have a second hard drive that would be a actual device. It depends how SecuROM sees the drive.

Yes, I stated before I'm in win7x64, how can I see how its seen by secuROM? I just know both partitions (its one harddrive) are taken as local disks by the OS.

Some people have reported success by going to Origin and clicking on the i in the icon AND THEN click download.
