Re: Sims 3 can't access Original House

@Ryheir2000  It's possible that the game recovered the old sims, or at least one of them, and bumped your own sims to a new house.  That alone isn't a big deal: you could evict that sim and place them somewhere else, then allow your sims to move back in.  It does suggest that there might be some problems with the current save though.

If you want to bail on this save and start a new one, it's easy to save a copy of your active household to the library and place the sims in a new save.  (Make sure to quit to desktop after saving the sims and before loading the new save; don't just switch from the Main Menu.)  If you'd like to keep playing this save and the above suggestion doesn't work, please let me know what mods, if any, you use, and I'll try to help.
