Re: Sims 3 Crashing
@FaithStreams Please go into Documents > Electronic Arts and either rename the Sims 3 folder or move it to the desktop. (Both approaches have the same practical effect.) Then try again to launch the game, and let me know whether you get far enough to start a new save. Opening the launcher will create a new Sims 3 folder with no content, and please don't move over your saves or anything else yet. The first step here is to see whether the game loads at all.
Additionally, with only 4 GB RAM and a very small page file, your computer isn't going to be capable of running much of anything alongside Sims 3. So please restart your computer before you want to play, and open nothing at all, other than the EA App, not even a browser window. Put the App in offline mode before pressing Play as well, to minimize its resource use.
