Re: SIMs 3 options don't work since a few days
@puzzlezaddict I bought SIMS3 DVDs (world/loft/garden/fast-lane) more than ten (could be 15) years ago and played it quite often.
I remember that the very first installation asked for a patch which I downloaded (~850 MB). I already tried a complete new install from DVDs but the sticky options reappeared. I usually started the game without the launcher to avoid unwanted net updates. But had to use it after crash,
so I suspect the Launcher loaded some update and destroyed vital data.
another main problem is this old game cannot identify my not so old sound and graphic hardware. I can change screen resolution and need to disable all sound with cheats.
