seems to be an issue with uni ans world adventures you might find some solutions going through this link: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Game-Corru
ption/m-p/968290/ or you could try in your the electronicsarts/thesims/saves folder find your saved game with whatever name you gave it and the back up folder of the game
for example my save game is SSV.sims3 the back up will be SSV,sims3.backup i move the SSV.sims3 folder to the desktop and carefully rename the .backup by removing .backup so the folder will now be SSV.sims3 when you launch your game you should see that save game you can load that game to play to see if it plays ok beaware that you may loose some game play as the backup file is created from the last time you saved that particular game
the sims will keep the skills they have and friendships they have with each other and any items in the inventory but you'll be starting with the wishes and maybe building up friendships up around the the town again
