@roberta591I hope this is OK
I've noticed that I can get the sound running again (for a bit) by minimising the game when the sound cuts out and using the sound troubleshooter. It then reinstalls the sound drivers and I can carry on playing, though it just crashes again a little while later.

@Psybot25 Do you normally play the game with dual monitors. Does the sound work normally when you disconnect the Benq monitor? I would recommend off-loading and freeing up space on your system drive. Your present setup has a lot going on. I think part of and the sound driver problems are related to the internal speakers vs the hdmi and may clear up when you free up space on the hard drive. Another thing you may look at is increasing the virtual memory but don't do that until you make room on the drive.

@roberta591
Thanks for the feedback.I have the Benq monitor unplugged right now actually, and this problem pre-dates me getting the monitor anyway.
I'll check about freeing up some space, not a bad idea regardless of whether its causing the sound issue.
By virtual memory, do you mean RAM? (excuse the computer illiteracy)

@Psybot25 Virtual memory is actually data that is paged to the hard drive. TS3 is a 32 bit program and as such can not access more then 4Gb of memory. Actually due to the compilers the program with not use more the 2Gb of memory. Parts of memory are paged to the hard drive when not (less) needed. This is a very simple explanation. Gamers should have a basic knowledge of the operating system - especially how the file system works and how to update device drivers.
