Where can you see if it's up to date? I'm under the "Game Updates" section, but I don't see what patch?

On a PC, you can use your mouse to hover over the base game icon at the bottom of the launcher. That number should be 1.50 something something. (If you have a Mac, it's a little more complicated, follow these instructions: http://bluebellflora.com/ts3-on-a-mac/checking-which-patch-version-youre-running )
