@LeissaMyst I'm glad you found a workaround for the jetpack issue, and yes, they're quite finicky even under the best of circumstances.
For the firewall issue, it sounds like you're playing through Origin, so you'd need to set an exception for Origin.exe, and possibly one for TS3.exe. I'm kind of surprised your firewall would block the repair though—since you play Sims 4, you'd have needed to download updates and possibly repair long before now. But maybe the firewall settings changed, or the repair also uses TS3.exe.
