Re: Sims 3 will not open after launcher on mac
The new MacBooks are absolutely not geared towards gaming, especially The Sims 3 which is a resource hog in OS X. The processor and graphics are very low spec. Even if you could get the game to work your Mac won't last very long due to the heat it will produce struggling to play the game. Of course, it will shut down to avoid damage but over time it will just fry. It doesn't have a fan which is essential in cooling the components down.
Sorry. Attempting to run The Sims 3 or The Sims 4 on the MacBook is just asking for problems. ☹️
