@sofarsogood99909  The main issue here is that Sims 3 doesn't start correctly on your processor.  Even though you don't have a 12th-gen Intel CPU, your model is affected in the same way, so please try one of the workarounds in the accepted solution of this thread:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Sims-3-won-t-open-Alder-Lake-Intel-12th-gen-CPU/m-p/11057820#M248615

OneDrive may also present a problem here: your computer's default Documents location is inside the OneDrive folder rather than in the location Sims 3 would look for it.  But I don't want to mess with your system settings unless it becomes necessary, so let's fix the CPU issue first.

If you still can't play, please look for new errors in the Reliability Monitor.  Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day.  Look for a new Sims 3 error from when you tried to launch the game after applying one of the workarounds.  If you find one, double-click it and you'll get more information.  If you see something like this, specifically with exception code 0xc00000094 showing up:

Faulting application name: TS3.exe, version: 0.2.0.32, time stamp: 0x568d4bac
Faulting module name: TS3.exe, version: 0.2.0.32, time stamp: 0x568d4bac
    Exception code: 0xc0000094
    Fault offset: 0x005511f2
    Faulting process id: 0x5624
    Faulting application start time: 0x01d7ea093f0ac59b
    Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3.exe
    Report Id: ffde230a-067e-4819-b9d1-b6aa267e5fac
    Faulting package full name:
    Faulting package-relative application ID:

That means you're still getting the same CPU error, and you'll need to try a different workaround.  If you see a different error, please copy the info and paste it here.  If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.  No error at all would also be helpful information, so let me know either way.
