Re: Sims interaction seemingly disabled
@poppingmythik I suspect the mod for this issue as well. (And showering requires changing outfits, so these are probably two symptoms of the same underlying issue.) But one thing you can try is evicting your sims in Edit Town and placing them back in their house. They'll lose their promised wishes and opportunities, but they should keep their jobs and relationships. This is a reasonably thorough reset and the best one you can get short of an NRaas MasterController Reset Sim command, and NRaas mods in general don't get along with your adult-oriented mod.
About that mod: One reason it causes so many issues that are difficult if not impossible to fix is that the mod injects code into the game core with no way to clean it up. That's all fine as long as the data itself is fine, but when the mod introduces an error, the corruption can be permanent and start affecting other parts of the game. This is somewhat of an oversimplification, and I can try to find a better explanation from a modder and professional software developer—I've read one or two over the years—but the bottom line is that many if not most of the problems this mod introduces are not fixable. And often enough, neither are the sims, even if they're saved to the bin and added to a new save that's never been exposed to the mod.
If you do want to keep using this mod, you'll just need to accept that things will break sooner or later, and all you can really do is work around the problems and keep backup saves for when you need to revert. If you'd rather your saves work properly, consider a different adult-themed mod hosted on the same site. I can't name it either, for the same reasons, but it's one word with the initial P and it works very well overall. It's also fully compatible with NRaas mods, both game-fixing and otherwise. It doesn't have quite the same content, but perhaps it would be good enough to support what you want to do in-game.
