same problem, it worked fine before i reinstalled windows on my computer but now ive tryed to reinstall all store content, the intaller says allready installed, but its not. ive reintalled the sims over 5 times within the last month to try and fix this issue. but no joy. im having the same issue as you but others too. im on windows and useing steam game thing too. its an old problem what the sims 3 have and its about time they fixed it. if they focused on fixing this issues rarther than more dlc's then the game would be better. but i guess that they making millions of billions of piunds so they got there money so the customer will always lose out. if it not fixed i will go through a small claims court to get a refund for this game as its not fit for purpose.
the base game content is rubbish and how do you make a dream house useing base game stuff. bloody joke to me
if any one has any ideas how to fix these issue please can you help, or alble to tell me what patches are causeing it so i can remove them, i carnt understand why they all worked and now i got loads of issues. makes no sence to me.
my problems are:
1. store content not showing up in game
2, store content saying installed and saying already installed but not showing up in game
3, game keeps crashing and closeing
4, saved games not loading up
im sure there more issues too but i can not thing of them now.
the system im useing is,
windows 7
64bit system
useing steam app
ive tryed orin....... from ea and same issues
i hope someone can help as ive been trying for so many hours to fix this. for an example ive spent around 15 hours in the last few days and everything ive been told to try online ive done but same issues are still there.
