Re: The Sims 3 game unable to recognize external hard drive

The game is looking for the save games in the Windows documents folder. You will need to change the windows documents folder to your external hard drive for the game to recognize it there.

Use google to find out how to do that.

    I had already created folders on my external hard drive like the ones on my laptop. 🙂

    I deleted all of it and then copied the game from my old laptop onto the external hard drive. It didn't work

    So I don't think it's possible...
