When I open my Sims 3 launcher my log in details aren't recognised?
When I open the Sims 3 launcher on my Macbook and try to log in using my EA account details it says "Please enter a valid email address". I know the details I'm entering are correct because I can use them to log into the Sims 3 website, so I'm not sure what's wrong?
Maaaaria08 kellbell5598 One cause of this is having a special character in your password, for example & or !. The launcher doesn't handle these well. So if this is the case for you, change your EA password to something with only letters and numbers, then clear Safari's cache and cookies.
Having said that, you don't need to login to the launcher, ever. Just skip this step and play as normal. You don't need to login to the Main Menu either unless you want to collect badges or use Simport.
