Re: Town wont load after patch update

I have looked at this.  My problem seams nothing to do with it as I can go on and off line without making a difference.  

I have no problems with the launch window itself.  as I have said in the orgianl post, everything runs smoothly until i reach the town window then stops dead

Did you update Java ?

Try resttetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps/td-p/714/

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files  and make a backup.
