    I've found out a solution to my issue, I also notice several other windows 8 users are experiencing this, you might want to update the FAQs

    To fix the issue Just run the game in compatability mode with windows 7 and all the glitches will disapear.

    So the fix: Run the game in compatability mode (windows 7 )
