I have this problem also but I am trying to travel using a sim from Supernatural.

I have tried doing the empty family inventory and switching Active Households but my sim still will not show up in the Travel Destination

I am trying to travel using 1 Sim

This happens whenever i try to travel to any of the 3 locations

The suggestions don't help you ?

i think its a new bug with one of the newer expansions 

It's just the symptom of a bug and there are many things that can trigger it.There could be new triggers, that's very possible.

If non of the solutions work for you, I'm afraid that without using a mod (which I can't really recommend here) there's probably nothing you can do.
