Sims 3 Barnacle Bay not working...

I just purchased the Barnacle Bay world through the EA App for Sims 3, however, it won't show up in my purchase history in the Sims 3 store. I cannot download the world into my game since it doesn't appear there. When I try to register the code provided in my email I get this error "The code you entered has already been used. Please check the code entered and try again. If you continue to receive this error it may be that the code has already been applied." I've tried creating a case for this issue but it doesn't seem to be getting any attention or actually contacting EA and doesn't give me an option to live chat. How can I fix this? I'd much rather have Barnacle Bay then having to request a refund.
