I couldn't get this add on to work on my sims 3. Downloaded it from the EA app, tried redeeming the code & installing it on the sims launcher but it always automatically exits the launcher and I'd get an error window. I checked in game and it did not install, it's also not on my download/upload/installed content tab on the sims launcher. I'm so confused, how do you make this add on work?

Welcome to the ongoing technical issue that EA has only recently acknowledged. I also bought Monte VIsta and have not been able to redeem the code since December 21, 2025. Yet their sale on worlds in the ea app continues without warnings on their ea app. that they are not redeemable at the store.
There are several threads on this look up "Issue redeeming Sims 3 World codes" many people not able to redeem codes for even longer than me. Lots of thoughts on this problem in the thread.
Apparently their is no one able to work on this issue until January. At least that is the information given to us.
