Still cannot get TS3 to load

hi there,

tried fixing this right before the help desk migrated to EA forums. beginning of the year I merged my old TS3 account with my current EA account used for TS4. I originally had the TS3 game discs back from when the game first came out 15 years ago. The game is showing up within EA App, and I have installed from the EA App, but any time I try to load up the game, I get an error message "Failed to Launch" with the option to "Get the Game." I already own the game, so I don't want to have to buy another copy. After the error pops up, the EA app is in a forever loop of reloading the TS3 page even if I click on something else completely (another game, home, the browse section, etc). I have to force close the app to end the loop.

I have also tried repairing the game thru EA App, but it says I need to do that thru Steam. I have never played TS3 thru Steam therefore it does not show up in my Steam game list, so I'm not sure why it is telling me to do that.

I did attempt Alder Lake patch, but I'm not even sure if that is something that would help (my PC may not be 12th gen).

I feel like I've searched thru most of the discussions relating to this issue and tried all of the suggested solutions, but I'm still having issues loading the game.
