When I go to install or uninstall the program will not respond. Please help with this. I seem to be having a hard time. I never had problems in the past so I guess it is my turn. Thanks, Sourin...
LivingFreely Then please try installing the content into a clean user folder. Creating a clean folder will "uninstall" your Store and Exchange items by virtue of moving them to where the game can't read them.
Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Open the launcher to spawn a clean folder with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just download a Store or Exchange item and try to install it.
I would strongly recommend working with only Store content first because it is confirmed to work in general. Some Exchange items are broken for one reason or another. These may not install at all, or they might seem to install properly only to break the launcher, preventing you from installing anything else.
If you get an error when installing the first Store item, try again with a different browser.
If your first Store item is fine, you can start downloading other items, and then a few Exchange items, and see how it goes.

But now I am logged in while downloading an item from the store. It wants me to log in again before it delivers the item. It will not take the log in. It was doing this the other day and you guys fixed it on your end.
