Re: Issue redeeming Sims 3 World codes

I purchased two gold-world packs on the EA store 3-4 days ago and can not apply the codes to the Sims 3 store webpage. 
When I do I am presented with a
"The code you entered has already been used...." error even though the content does not show up on my Purchase History page (Or in my Sims 3 launcher). 

Sims 3 Roaring Heights Gold Edition 
and 
Sims3 Dragon Valley Gold Edition

    I agree I notice on old posts- from previous problems like this- months ago they seemed to have some way to manually grant the item you bought by entering the game code.  They also seem to have been able to solve the problem that prevented people from receiving the item they bought in a timely manner.  I have had to explain on the EA help page to representatives the same thing over and over. I have taken screen shots they requested and then they do not even seem to look at them. At least they are finally admitting their is something going on in their end.

    oh, I found the chat option all right; that's how I ultimately ended up here posting on this thread. 

    The first time I chatted with a "representative" they told me what it looks like they have been telling everyone else; "wait longer". After 72 hours I opened a new chat; they put me in a que with "the experts that could fix the problem".  After an hour wait I was pretty much told; "oh, it's a bug" and to come here to this forum and write a post because they somehow think someone here monitoring these forums will have the ability to fix it; but I've seen no such thing to support this. 

    This is absolutely ridiculous.  Where are the people that actually RUN the Sims3 store website.  They should have the ability to manually grant they things that are not working via the redeem game-codes function. (after we prove the purchase and errors)
    I'm tired of dealing with EA App reps that have no clue and no power to do anything. This is a great example of how no to run a company.  The EA app - Sims3 Store website process is one of the most convoluted and inefficient setups I have ever witnessed.

    I have this problem as well (12/26)  And contacted support. After talking to support via chat, they said "Try again tomorrow" and that was it. When i asked for a refund after i found this thread they told me to contact them tomorrow after they receive payment. To which i replied, "Where did the money i paid for this go, as it is not in my account anymore?" To which they said its being processed even though it's been over an hour. I suppose i'll try to contact tomorrow for a refund but it seems as if EA is dancing around any issues and will not refund anything or fix the problem.

    Lots of people are having the same problem. Codes will not redeem at store-some kind of technical issue they can not seem to resolve. They keep saying they are working on it. I think it might have started when they had the whole website "EA store" go down. No one could access anything on site. Some threads around a week ago about that. They then put the website back ..but codes are not able to redeem.

    Oh, one additional thing;  I have attempted this using:
    Chrome, Firefox and Edge (yuck)
