Since my last post (above) I loaded my BP save up and my two Sims had no icon's in the user face and were not responsive to anything. I tried everything I could. The only thing that saves me is that saving a copy of the household to the bin and deleting the family from the town and re-placing them in their house fixes everything.
This was related to the Holi-Poi Event Center (if that's the correct name, the modern theater one). My game like I said was very slow and rugged all of a sudden and then upon having her try to do a gig she didnt get there in time to do it, it wouldn't let me. Also, the lot itself was glitched. It was a black box from map view but at street view it was all black.
In an attempt to fix it I deleted the lot hoping my sim would be sent home and the problem would fix it self. Even deleted at street view at that lot it was all black like a show was going on. Im reporting here for two reasons. 1) Didnt have any ST problems before this patch 2) I'm hoping Crincit will have a solution.
Copying the save and loading didnt resolve anything either. Either did switching households, moving households, etc. Deleting the "lot" after deleting the venue removed the darkness/ST glitch but did not fix the family. I'm just gonna have to deal with the lost relationships I suppose.
I'm at week 81 in BP. I've heard horror stories about 3 generations into a save file. Should I try to recreate my current BP (Save all the custom lots and families to the bin and replace in a fresh BP save?)
Thanks Crin and anyone else that can help. Honestly, this family was a big part of me coming back to the Sims after Sims 2. When I learned ST was coming out I waited for that because she was a singer from Sims 1 Superstar. Then I waited for Seasons. Since Christmas eve I've been playing this family and this "singer" from toddler to "Star" at the singing career. It was just getting really really good. I can't believe my save went from playing better than ever to being broke. I could cry.
I've got 20 other Sim families in the past 2 years. NOTHING EVER HAPPENED TO THEM! Nope, my remake of my all time favorite Sims family. Good god. LOL. Gotta love Simmin. lol
