Well hmmmm.
I decided to delete "Ben" from the family and make a new child to take his place (gosh that sounds bad lol) to see what happens.
Exactly the same thing. This new "Ben" can't/won't finish drawing 2 pics either.
All his skills were at 0, he was in 'inspired' mood, sat him down, told him to draw. He did but the green circle would not move. He sat there until I finally told him to stop. Picture was finished but no credit for it.
I am now completely out of ideas. It seems this particular family is bugged :'(
Any other suggestions? Anyone?

@crinrictWell at least you know I'm not crazy. Something really is wrong. I guess I'll just have to accept the fact my boy will not be an artist and move on. I'm not about to start over. I moved into a new house during all this trying things and I really like it lol
I can't thank you all enough for the tips and tricks and hints and help you have given to try to help me fix this. You're very appreciated.
I'm not going to give up completely. I'll keep trying every once in a while and if y'all think of something else I can try just give me a holler.
