Ambrosia not working (Patch 1.103.190)

Have a ghost sim eat ambrosia, while sitting, maybe then it will work.

Edit: I just tried it with a vampire ghost sitting at the table and it worked. 

See and I did it standing because people on the last thread about this said it didn’t work sitting. Maybe it’s random on when it works and doesn’t. I already had my sim woman, that I’m currently playing with, remarry so not bringing the ghost back now. I just wanted to post that it still is t working

The deaths I’ve noticed it with were because of high emotions. It was a non occult sims. I don’t have many deaths in game personally so I have limited experience. I just know it’s not working. I’ve already given up and moved on.

One of my sims died by laughter. I added that ghost sim to my household. I had another sim make ambrosia. The ghost sim ate the ambrosia, but nothing happened. I got some more ambrosia off the gallery to try it again, still did not work. I saw some posts about it not working if they're standing up so I had them sit down and eat it, but it still did not work. I tried the traits.remove_trait X cheat to remove the Death By Laughter trait, but the cheat did not remove that trait. I tried the re-traiting potion and that would not remove the death by laughter trait. I saw some posts saying the ambrosia was fixed, but I can assure you it is not. It is very much still broken. I really don't want to have to download mods in order to fix this as mods also cause a lot of issues for my saves.
