When I enter build mode everything stops working after a few minutes. Objects disappear as soon as they’re placed or can’t be placed at all. No build tools will work. The game fails to save as well.
I’ve tried clearing the cache in my files and in EA. I’ve completely uninstalled the game and reinstalled it as well as the EA app.
I don’t use mods but I’ve even tried moving files to the desktop to fix the issue. I don’t know what else to do to repair it.
I purchased the game and all expansions/kits through steam and I have verified the integrity of the game files there.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue?
Update: I just installed it on a different computer and it’s still having the same issues 😩

Yes, there are no mods, and I created a new save.
The problem is still there. The build mode stops working after a few minutes. I can't delete or move an object, even though the sound of the action remains, but nothing happens to the object. If I try to save the game, the save screen will play forever until I force close the Sims game. The same thing will happen with the loading screen (it will be forever) if I try to exit to Manage Worlds.
