[ARCHIVED] Can't make changes to build

  • Build mode has been weird the past couple days. I've attached videos to show what I've been dealing with. Once it does it, its stuck I try to save or leave the game and the loading screen will stay there (lasted up to an hour 1 time). The only way I can get out is to restart my computer. I do have several mods but they're all updated and I've never had any issues with them before. I've repaired it, moved my mods in my folders, Uninstalled the game, deleted the file of the family and did a new game but it still will do it. I like the house that I spent 2 days on and saved it to try a new game and once again I am dealing with it. I've looked everywhere trying to find an answer nothings worked. I've even gone into my old families I made before the recent update in Jan 2024 and it works fine for the time I was in the older families but I try a new family and it does this in build mode. I was able to make the house and family so build mode worked for a bit but then it does this and once it does it. I will try to leave to game and right away doing it again once im in build mode again. I don't know what's wrong or how to fix it. Someone please help!

    Merging this with the current main thread but did you close down the game before trying a new save game ?

    Have you tried renaming your user folder yet ?
