Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.104.58.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get to Work, Get Together, City Living, Island Living, Get Famous, Eco Lifestyle, Cottage Living, Seasons, Growing Together, Outdoor Retreat, Spa Day, Dream Home Decorator, Fitness Pack, Parenthood, Toddler stuff, Backyard stuff, Kids room stuff, Romantic Garden, Perfect Patio, Nifty Knitting, My First Pet, High School Years
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go into Buy mode and place an item. Try to place a second item.
What happens when the bug occurs? Buy mode appears to work normally if I buy an item. However, if I then try to place a second item, it disappears and doesn't let me place it. If I exit to Live mode and go back to Buy mode it lets me place another single item before stopping working again.
What do you expect to see? Being able to buy as many items as the household funds will allow.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Yes - the latest Sims delivery downloaded when I launched the game, and then it restarted. I last played the game a few days ago and definitely would have noticed if I was having this issue then.
As above - I can't buy more than one item at a time in Buy mode. The second item that I try to buy disappears when I move the cursor to place it. If I switch to Live mode and back to Buy mode I can place an additional item, and then it stops working again.
Now that I've launched the game again it's working fine (and on the same household I was previously in) - it might have been a one-off weird thing that has hopefully fixed itself!
