After a break in playing the game, I returned after a year and noticed there was an issue with the vet offices across the communities. I created a vet office in one of my communities and one of my families are the owners. However, if I play a different family in the same community and bring a pet there no one shows up; there is no vet staff and no customers. After my sim checks in they just since there in "Waiting on Vet." I do not play with mods but I do know that it was working fine when I played previously. I have not tried any of the other businesses (restaurant, retail) to see if those are working yet. Everything works fine if I take control of the family that owns the vet clinic and head there. It's only when I play other families. It also doesn't matter if I send my sims to another community to take their pets to the vet. It's the same result.
