I've been working at this all day trying to get my other households to buy things from owned businesses that I've built. This used to work perfectly. I'd just show up and buy whatever. But now nothing works UNLESS you go into the household that owns the business and have them open it then quickly go back to the household trying buy things. Only then can I purchase items. This goes for everything from items in the lice freezer to caught fish and any item you can set for sale. Such a hassle to have to do this but as of right now it's the only thing that works. And I tested it with mods and without. The mods made no difference.
My daughter has her sims buy from my sim's store. Lately we noticed exactly this! I have to open the store now then switch back to her sim so that she can shop. It wasn't like this before! This is ontop of Rental houses always failing events... both are very frustrating.
