[ARCHIVED] [CD] [HR] Pets/Horses are black

I keep having this issue where my custom painted pets are turning black!! It happens when ive added a new custom pet to my Sims household through cas, I load back into game, save and leave. I go and load up my save again later to play and all my pets and black!! You can see their eyes and accessories/collars/halters etc but that's it, the whole coat is black. With my style of gameplay it's making it near impossible to play, I'm close to giving up at this point. For a game I've payed £800+ on I expect it to work. This is one of the very many glitches I've had recently within the past month or so but this is the most annoying and one I wanted fixed most. 

I'll just add, I'm a console player with no mods or cc, so I'm really stuck on why it's happening.
