This one is an actual reset of the animal. From your description, it's a bit hard to tell if it's this or the other.

@crinrict No last exceptions. I read through the other thread and honestly I'm not sure which one my issue belongs in either. I think it's this one though, because the cat doesn't run away, the table just lowers like the examination is over, the visit resets, and I have to start over by checking in for curing illness again. It has happened twice, and both times the second check in has worked fine and I have been able to get my pet treated. It does not appear to be 100%. I had another visit tonight to cure a sick pet and it went through just fine first time.

FWIW Someone in one of these threads mentioned thinking it might be related to the free spirit trait, which the cat this happened to had. The cat I took in tonight was not a free spirit.

It's really hard to tell if it's the same. I've seen the going down and cat running away in my game too but no actual resets so I don't know how it would look. A reset to me is more abrupt though.
