I have the same issue and it's really disappointing that it hasn't been fixed yet given that I'm a legacy player and that puts me off to well, keep the legacy going. :\ Hope they're going to get to it soon, tho!
I thougth the game did that on purpose. I thought EA was being racist by making all the noses that I make wide (when making African American sims) small. All the noses turn small. I don't think their genetics ever worked. They don't seem to be worried about us legacy players. How hard is it to make a child sim with the same nose width as the parents... Maybe they think the nose looks better smaller. Seems like they've done this on purpose to make "pretty sims" but in the end... every sims ends up looking the same in the face and ugly... geesh. EA fix this... we will keep complaining until you do. This looks suspect racist.... every sim born has a eurcentric nose and it makes the game no fun if by generation 3 every sim LOOKS THE SAME! I will not buy another addition until EA fixes this!
