[ARCHIVED] [CL] [DU] San Myshuno/Brichester full of Litter/Bikes

I've got this bug too, especially flea market stuff. I finally pulled out an old save from Dec 5, 2023 (right before the For Rent patch), thinking it'd be safe to play now. However, I didn't know about this bug and sent my heir to University to live in a dorm. Oops. The bikes and trash started accumulating.

After reading this thread, I thought I'd go back to the original Dec 5, 2023 save and load into the restaurant I have next to the festivals, hoping things would be cleared up. Nope. A whole bunch of flea market furniture is there. The only thing I'd done was move the two families I had in San Myshuno to other worlds via Household Manager. The flea market hasn't run but the furniture and some leftover plates are there.

I'm really confused on how to fix this. I uninstalled CL but chickened out at saving without it when the game gave me all the "This could corrupt things" warnings. But saving without it and then reinstalling will theoretically clear out the flea market stuff, right? I just wanna make sure before I venture in again.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a Sim go to Spice Market
What happens when the bug occurs? The furniture sold at the Flea Market does not disappear after the festival ends; they stay there. Other festivals start, and they’re still there. They don’t go away for anything.
What do you expect to see? I hope not to see the furniture again when the Flea Market is not happening.

The furniture stays like this.

The bikes and trash are not limited to San Myshuno.  I have seen trash in the small eating areas of San Sequoia.  Leaf piles are basically in all neighborhoods and are not deleting in the winter.  There are bikes all over the first neighborhood in Willowcreek.  My destroy object cheat is not even working because I cannot click on any of it to burn it or get rid of the trash.

I read somewhere that is an issue with creating For Rent Apartments but I have seen it in places that do not have apartments.  My worlds look horrid.

@keekee53 as far as I know, this bug happens if you use City/Eco Living/Lovestruck apartments/penthouses, For Rent rentals, and University dorms
