This once happened to me as well. The landlord didn't even bother to repair my broken things.
Me too! I don't have any Mods or CC. The real problem is that they eat food which costs our Sims money and if you ask them to leave your relationship with the Landlord takes a hit. That wouldn't be a problem , but you have to butter up the Landlord for him or her to fix things and so you don't want to do anything that might prevent them from fixing your problems. I asked my Landlord to leave and the next time my Sim had a problem he refused to come back and take care of it! ☹️ While I dont' mind the feature of having to brownose the Landlord, I do mind it if you ask him to leave and he gets offended when he should have left in the first place! 😠
