[ARCHIVED] Copying applies changes don't apply to Non-CAS Outfits

So, I've noticed recently that any time I give my sims a makeover , different hair style, etc, when they shower/bathe, go to work, get married , etc it reverts back to the previous hair style and only for those specific outfits that cannot be changed in CAS. Also university graduation had the old hair style under the cap. I am on Xbox. 

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: Xbox
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Always
What is your current game version number? 2.1.6.2300
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? mostly all except parenthood
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Change your Sim's hairstyle in CAS during gameplay, then take a shower, or any event where they change outfits automatically (wedding, graduation, etc) 
What happens when the bug occurs? My sim's hair reverts back to the style before change. 
What do you expect to see? The new style in all gameplay events
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? No mods, I am on xbox
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? I have only noticed this recently so I am not sure what update it started happening.

    Sims keep reverting back to their original hair when showering and going to work even though I updated their hair. Female sims also keep changing into a hospital gown instead of their formal attire. *edit to add: i am on ps5 so this is not a mods or cc issue.

    I have a similar outcome and I believe the root problem is the same. My sim (Nyon Specter) is wearing nail polish and eye make up when bathing, even though I've removed them from all his outfits in CAS. The "nude outfit" seems to be broken.

    I also remarked that he and other sims wear underwear when nude, I can see it through the blurring pixels. Not sure this is how it's supposed to be, I remember that my sims were actually nude when going nude lol.

    PS: spent lots of time in Sulani and nude showering in the waterfall, so I paid more attention to this.
