Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.77.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except - Moschino, fitness, bowling, kids room, cool kitchen, luxury party
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have Eco lifestyle installed... as it seems to be happening continuously
What happens when the bug occurs? Regardless of NAP, NPC sims steal EVERYTHING.
What do you expect to see? When the NAP "sharing is caring" is active, i expect NPCs to take objects fairly, and only from residents or community lots like parks etc not from any lot with a job involved
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
Sharing is caring wasnt active, an npc stole a chair and table out of the bar, its made the bar get an error in build mode as it didnt have all items required, then made it so the bartender NPC lost his job because of it...
Also happened in a restaurant.
Even after toggling the Eco options off it doesnt stop this happening and the bug was meant to be fixed in the last patch.
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Kurdaypie If NAP wasn't active, it's still possible that you have legacy issues.
Was this a new save from after the patch ? There is an issue with NAP still sticking on Sims so maybe that's what you're seeing.
Happy to look at your save if you want me to.
I do agree that they shouldn't steal from community lots but from what I've gathered, that's currently not a bug. Something they should reconsider, I agree but more feedback.- Kurdaypie5 years agoNew Novice
@Koernchenq Is the legacy issue able to be fixed?
i tried a new household and it didnt even show NAPs active and the one that did i was able to repeal it without any theft
Does this mean ill never be able to play the old saves at all as everyones klepto?:'(
- crinrict5 years agoHero+@Kurdaypie It is. With mods it's quite easy, without it's possible but takes a lot of work.
Here's some info on that: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/NEEDS-INPUT-ECO-NPC-Autonomy-commodities-incorrectly-being-saved/td-p/9351944
If you're not opposed to mods, check MTS for basementals nap fix.
